Mr. Terence Isaac - Principal
Mr. Isaac brings a rich blend of experience and passion for education to his new role. With over a decade in the field, he started his career as a teaching assistant at Polo Road, later becoming a dedicated fourth and fifth-grade teacher from 2012 to 2020. His leadership journey began as the Program and Campus Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands (Richland Two schools), where he served from 2007 to 2015.
In 2020, Mr. Isaac took on the role of assistant principal, first at Sandlapper Elementary and currently at Lake Carolina Upper Campus. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to academic excellence, always focused on helping students and staff succeed.
Mr. Isaac holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina. His well-rounded background and hands-on experience make him the perfect fit to guide Polo Road Elementary into its next exciting chapter.
Outside of work, Mr. Isaac enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Mrs. Jennifer Isaac, who is also a teacher in Richland Two. Together, they love vacationing, hiking, and making family memories.

Ms. Ayanna Bolton - Assistant Principal
Ms. Bolton is extremely proud to return to Polo Road Elementary, the school where her journey as an educator began. With experience teaching 3rd grade and working as a K-5 intervention specialist, she has had the opportunity to support a variety of students.
In addition to her classroom experience, Ms. Bolton has served in several leadership roles, including Lead Interventionist, School Improvement Council Chairperson, Collective Leadership Co-Representative, and AVID Site Team Coordinator. Through these roles, she has worked closely with teachers, students, and families, focusing on collaboration, school improvement, and ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.
What makes Ms. Bolton truly special is her ability to build strong relationships and foster a positive, student-centered learning environment. We are thrilled to have her back at PRE and know she will continue to make a lasting impact on our school community.
Ms. Bolton holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Christina York - Assistant Principal
Ms. York is thrilled to take on the role of Assistant Principal at Polo Road Elementary School. Before joining Polo Road, she gained valuable experience in various leadership positions that enriched her skills and understanding as an Educator. Ms. York began her career as a Teaching Assistant in both Kindergarten and Pre-school. She has also worked as a Testing and Tutoring monitor. Her teaching experience includes instructing 2nd and 3rd graders at Windsor Elementary School, and for the past five years, she has been the Behavior Interventionist. Additionally, she co-directed the 21st Century Afterschool Program.
Ms. York earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Webster University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership Administration from Grand Canyon University, along with an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
Passionate about supporting both teachers and students, Ms. York is dedicated to her role in education.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family, playing tennis, and singing.
